This fourth project was one of the most tedious projects yet. It consists of twelve pie pieces each painted individually to correspond with a primary, secondary, or tertiary color. Each piece took a little more than two hours to paint. Yes, two hours. Each. That’s a solid twenty-four hours of painting when it was all said and done. But, I’m happy with the final product so all those meticulous brush strokes were worth it in the end.
The very center is a twelve step gray scale from white to black, the first colored section is the main hue, then the complementary colors, followed by the tone triangles (hue+gray), then the ring of shades (hue+black), and finally the outermost tints (hue+white).
